Healthy Tips all Pakistani’s should follow this Winter Season
Winter season in Pakistan is as beautiful as our dreams that
moves rhythmically to music in our imagination. It starts from mid of November
and ends in the month of February. It is a completely dry season, short and
mild for Pakistani’s, where the rainfall is lower in comparison to other
countries across the globe. As far as the Northern part is concerned, it is as
cold as death. The rest of Pakistan is said to enjoy a rewarding gift in shape
of continuous transformation of nature, i.e. from comfortable and pleasantly
warm sunlight during day time to cozy nights. Winters in Pakistan offers a
beautiful view to capture, especially the clear sky and sun bright and bracing,
thereby making it a perfect tourist spot. This year, people from all over
Pakistan are travelling to cool areas in order to experience the beautiful
snowflakes in the province of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Winter arrives when the;“Birds are said to rest in their nest”“Days are dark and the fog leaves its mark”“Mountains are wearing snow and people are there to capture this beautiful show”
This winter season- as you leave your houses and as the
temperature goes down, you are suggested to follow some important yet healthy
tips;
Ø Keep yourself hydrated
Knowing the fact that the thirst in winters decreases, it is suggested to
drink at least 8 glasses of water in a day. A majority of people choose to
consume tea, coffee, hot chocolates and other similar beverages, but these
cannot be an alternate for water. Keeping yourself hydrated helps you in
reducing the possibility of illness by flushing out all the toxins from the
body, maintaining the body weight as well as the glow on the skin as the water
also plays a role of a natural skin moisturizer.
Ø Wear your skin moisturizer all day and night
Despite the fact that winter is beautiful, it brings a lot of dryness
that may lead to various skin problems. This is why, keeping skin moisturized
all day long is a crucial tip to follow. Utilization of natural products (i.e.
containing less harsh chemicals) such as mineral oil or petroleum jelly can
help maintain healthy skin.
Ø Regular hair oiling
The dryness of the season also covers the hair, thereby causing dandruff
that further becomes the major reason behind hair fall or thinning of hair. For
carrying healthy hair, regular hair oiling with hot oil can prove to be
fruitful. Besides preventing dandruff and roughness, the daily hair massage
relaxes one from all the day stress and anxiety.
Ø Healthy eating
During winter, numerous Pakistani’s crave for comfort foods like cookies,
hot chocolates and other similar. It is suggested to eat food that is healthy
and does not make one grow body fats. Some healthy winter warming foods include;
warm milk, oatmeal, vegetable and chicken soup, etc.
Ø Dress appropriately
In the season of winter, there are higher chances of getting ill or
getting frostbitten. This is why, it is suggested to people of all age groups
to wrap themselves with warm clothes, get heads covered with hats, hands
covered with gloves and feet with socks.
Ø Outdoor exercising
Winters in Pakistan makes it really difficult for one to jog or walk that
may destroy the fitness. In order to stay fit and healthy, one must look for
some outdoor sports or join a club that allows outdoor exercise especially in
sunlight. Sports such as ice skating are wonderful and helps one in boosting
the immunity, thereby protecting the body from causing illness.
